Therese’s apothecary work brings together years of study with a deeply intuitive relationship to the plant and fungi kingdoms. Rather than beginning with a product and asking who it might suit, she begins with the person.
Each consultation is a conversation about what is happening physically, emotionally, spiritually, and energetically, followed by a process of discernment around what form of support may be most appropriate.
For some people, that may mean one of the remedies Therese already prepares and keeps in her apothecary. For others, it may mean creating something custom.
Therese works with the understanding that medicinal plants and fungi are not interchangeable. Each has its own qualities, actions, preparations, and ways of being administered. The same plant may be used very differently depending on how it is prepared, what part is used, how it is combined, and the individual receiving it.
Her role is to bring together traditional knowledge, practical preparation, prayer, and intuition to help determine what feels most appropriate for each person.
The Apothecary Consultation
The process begins with a private consultation with Therese.
Together, you’ll explore what you are seeking support with and what may be happening beneath the surface. Therese then draws from her knowledge of herbs, medicinal fungi, preparations, and her intuitive gifts to determine whether an existing remedy or a custom preparation is the best fit.
Depending on the individual, this may include:
herbal preparations
medicinal fungi
teas and infusions
tinctures
essential oils or topical preparations
custom blends
remedies already prepared in the Divine Earth Apothecary
guidance around preparation and use
Made for the Person, Not the Shelf
Divine Earth Apothecary is intentionally different from a conventional herbal shop.
Therese does not believe every person should receive the same remedy simply because they share the same symptom. She looks at the person as a whole and considers the preparation, timing, combination, and method of use as part of the remedy itself.
Some medicines are created in small batches. Others are prepared specifically for one person.
The intention is to find the right relationship between the person, the plant, and the preparation.
